CAMERON STEPHENS MURPH CHALLENGE
Support the 2025 Cameron Stephens Murph Challenge
On June 4th, 2025, 35 athletes from the Cameron Stephens team lace up, gear up, and push their limits — all in honour of a fallen hero. If you’re new to the Murph Challenge, it’s a workout with a purpose. Named after the late Navy SEAL Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, the "Murph" has become a global tradition of remembrance and grit. Each year, athletes around the world take on this challenge, to honour his sacrifice—and all those who serve.
Here’s what the Murph WOD includes:
1 mile run;
100 pull-ups;
200 push-ups;
300 air squats; and
1 mile run again.
The Murph Challenge is run in gyms, parks, and communities across the world — but at Cameron Stephens, we’ve made it proudly Canadian by partnering with one of Canada’s most historic regiments and raising funds for a uniquely Canadian cause.
Proudly Canadian. Proudly Connected.
At Cameron Stephens, we’re proud to put a Canadian twist on this tradition by partnering with The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada — one of Canada’s oldest and most distinguished infantry regiments. Founded in 1860, the Queen’s Own Rifles have served Canada in every major conflict since their inception. More recently, members have served in peacekeeping missions, as well as the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. Currently, there are numerous Riflemen deployed overseas, where their missions include training members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Their motto, "In Pace Paratus" (In Peace, Prepared), reminds us of the readiness and sacrifice that define their legacy.
Our 2025 Mission: Commemorating History
This year, our Murph Challenge isn’t just about pushing physical limits — it’s about supporting a deeper cause. We’re targeting $20,000 to support The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada Trust Fund. This charitable trust collects donations to promote the welfare and well-being of the Regiment's serving members, veterans, and their families. These initiatives include sending packages to members deployed overseas, providing academic bursaries, and supporting members transitioning to the civilian workforce. In addition, the Regimental Trust also supports members and their families during times of need. Finally, the Trust works to preserve the history of the Regiment by funding commemorative monuments honouring Fallen Riflemen and supporting the Regimental Museum at Casa Loma.
To sponsor an athlete, please follow the donation link below. Donations over $100 will automatically receive a tax receipt upon payment.
Thank you for helping us honor the past — and challenge the present. Let’s get after it!
